new year year ya'll!
in attempts to better update this thing (per desi's request)
i'd like to first say i hope everyone's holidays were a delight. i slept through the majority of it and it was quite enjoyable :) i did venture out to get pictures taken with my sister and nephew..since last year she made it a tradition..
chrismukkah day i spent volunteering with project warmth, a local nonprofit that helps those without a home during the holidays. the organization gives them meals, a christmas celebration, clothing, community outreach and resources and shelter for the night. it was fun to play santa to such deserving people..
new years was a blast..KU won over Michigan in the Insight bowl..makes me very sad i wasnt in Arizona for NYE..anyways i was tired by 11pm but due to obligations to ring in the new year in style and in the presence of friends i missed watching the magical ball drop from the comfort of my sofa :)

my nine (resolutions) for oh nine:
1. lose 50 pounds
2. recover from my 3rd and final surgery on rehabilitation my right leg
3. regain my activity in all things ward related
4. lose myself in the service of others at least 20hrs a month :)
5. grasp financial independence better by keeping current with debt while paying tithes
6. graduate
7. get the mustang painted and air intake replaced
8. buy a 99-04 black gt 5.0 v8
9. read, pray, and love often
and so far for the year this might very well be my favorite song..
